((A tad late, but meh to you all!))
The spark to a small fire ignited onto a very short white fuse that led down to a pile of firecrackers as they was thrown into the air before they had a chance to go down and then explode in a sound of small pops that sounded like bullets to the ears as Drake White could hear his mother yelling, “You trying to hurt yourself!? That could’ve blew up your face!”
The sun was finally beginning to set as Drake just chuckled turning around to his pacing back and forth mother. David was still dragging out more fireworks to explode as Drake picked up another piles of firecrackers and lit the short fuse throwing them into the air ignoring her mothers short yell of concern as they exploded in midair before they could hit the ground.
“Damn it Drake quit it!”
“Don’t worry so much mom I’m not going to hurt myself.”
“You keep testing it like that, and you may end up with a blown off arm! How you going to play basketball with just one arm?”
“That would be so uber though, if I could still own all the other teams with just one arm. Either that or get one of those robotic arms to replace my missing one.”
“Not. FUNNY!”
Drake picked up a blue smoke bomb and lit it before throwing it to the ground, then quickly lighting a red smoke bomb and throwing it next to the blue one as the blue smoke was already going off, with red smoke now cross it path as the colors mixed and form a moment of purple smoke before going their own ways. “Sweet.”
“Stop pissing off your mother,” said David walking up to the two.
Having a big box in his hand he set it down in the middle of the street, Mary just started backing away not being a big fan of fireworks, or maybe it was because she knew they could seriously harm, or kill a person and her overprotected self knew no limits when it came to her son. David lit the firework and turned to walk away a fair distance from it as Drake set off in a run down the road watching it shoot up one after one and exploding in the air with sparkles light of different colors in the night sky, the firework reflecting in his eyes as a car was coming down the road behind him. “Car!” David said to Drake, as he quickly jumped out of the road during a spin in midair and landing on his feet on the grass. “Show off...”
