It was Rainy out, for a change. Rainne found herself liking the rain, but the fact that it barely ever did rain here in Chicago made it so that Rainne was barely ever to see it. She never was sure why she hated the sun - maybe because part of her was vampire...or simply because she liked the weather Rain. Her Mother had always told her never to sulk when it was raining out - I didn't name you after such a beautiful thing just to have you ruin it's name by sulking all day. Rainne grinned at the thought - she was all to right. That is why unlike many of the people around Chicago, Rainne was out in the rain, a black umbrella protecting her from the tears of the sky.
She was in a normal attire for herself, a long black jacket shielding her from the cool winds, and jeans with no holes in them this time, only a bunch of different patches. She had on a corset as well, something that she likes to wear often, revealing her pale white skin against the darkened skies. Her blond hair was let down, and of course her thick layer of eyeliner was applied - This was Rainne, all the way. Nothing about her self image had changed, nothing about the way she was had either. She knew it never would either.
The drops of water hitting the top of her umbrella, The sound was something that was soothing as well as relaxing. It kind of made her want to go to sleep, but there was no deed to waste the day with such things. the rain falling heavily, the created a gray like scene in front of her, making it hard for any person to make out the details of a person or thing if they where walking toward them. Rainne, however didn't have that problem - she was a hybrid. One that Naro seemed to have his eye on. She grunted at the thought, continuing walking.
Her last trip to the outer world was most unpleasant. She never forgave her mother for taking her there - and she was starting to think that she never would. Shaking her head at the thought, Rainne didn't want this war to happen, but she knew it was coming. A car starting to come by, Rainne moved farther onto the doormat sidewalk so avoid getting splashed. The streets where so empty...it was like Chicago had turned into a ghost town.

Natsuo closed the door behind him, and opened up the old fashioned Japanese umbrella that was in his hands. It did well enough to keep away the rain, even though it didn’t look like it would. Though he was surprised he still even had it. Fail had given it to him years again where he usually went to cafés to figure out riddles, now he just wondered…. The color of the umbrella reminded him of the skin when it was clear and sunny, though it was brighter than that. In the umbrella’s sky there was a cherry blossom tree that was raining some of its leaves. Beside it there was writing that he could now read, and couldn’t then. She’d been right, it did stand for good fortune and love. Which made him dislike it a bit more, though he wasn’t one to like the rain to much. Hence being half cat demon.
Rainy days would probably be the only day that he’d be willing to bring his mom out of the house, which she needed, but she didn’t care for the rain at all. And every other day he was worried that some stupid neighborhood kid would have his BB gun and decide to attack his mother, they had before, though those ones where older they still did stupid shit, teaching the younger ones to ruin and torture Natsuo‘s home whenever they could. Though Natsuo didn’t even bother with them anymore, they weren’t worth his effort when it could be put to much better use.
He sighed at the fact that the moment he stepped from the door step his shoes where already soaking up water from small puddles, his shoes where old and worn, this just told him he needed to finally spend some of that money that wasn’t being used for their needs, they certainly had enough saved up money. But he didn’t want to waste the time, but he’d have to unless he wanted to continue to go through having wet feet for days.
Natsuo started to walking down the street, glad that Fail had annoyed him until he’d put on the loose leather jacket over his loose grey t-shirt and black pants. It kept more of the rain from him, though the leather would probably be ruined, but that didn’t matter to him, not like it actually meant something to him. Down the street he could see a girl that seemed about his age, and being at this distance, and being it was raining he couldn’t smell her… Though like he cared what she smelled like, or even who she was at the moment… he was in his own thoughts.

The rain was always the type of weather that caused this young women to think. She wasn't sure it was about it, but it made her want to sit and really think about things, sort it all out. Maybe make some sense of her life at the moment. So naturally, it started to wonder again. Rainne never did enjoy it when her mind wondered on her - it bought her to dreams and memories she would rather not have to think about, but none the less it seemed she didn't have much choice in the matter. And of course, two things did come to Mind ;; Her father, and Naro. She wondered how he was, what he was planning. She supposed that time would tell, but Rainne always was an impatient person since birth [ at lest, so her mom was convinced ].
The rain still falling upon her black umbrella which Rainne stood safely under, she was hoping for something. Something to break her away from the life that she is living because in truth, she was sick of it. She had met someone she thought could do that, someone she had not known ever until she had decided one day to talk to him at School. Drake White. An interesting character, she had to admit, she liked him quiet a lot. She wasn't sure either, considering that Rainne doesn't really like people all too quickly, but there was something about him that really tweaked her interest. The Hybrid only smirked a bit at the thought, the lights from a pass car lighting her face a moment before fading away.
But as a happy thought came to mind a worse one came into play. With Naro wanting her in his side for being a hybrid, He could be in danger. She shook her head. No, Naro wont touch him, she would make sure of that. But she knew that her father would if he was around. The grip on her umbrella tightened at the thought of that man. The Demon that raped her mother - Rainne didn't even know his name. She didn't want to. All she knew is that when she met him, she would kill him even if she ended up dying in the process. Miss Morrison hated him more then she hated Naro, and that is saying something.
The rainy weather still was heavy when Rainne was walking through the Grey scenery, it cause a smell to come from the sewers, considering they where over flowing. It was horrible - at lest she smelled go. She smirked at the thought, remember she had put on some spray before she had left the house. Shaking her head from the thought, Rainne pressed on. But then Rainne heard footsteps. The fact that it was raining so hard did mask her from hearing the man behind her for a while. Turning around, Rainne spotted a man walking as well. She made out some of his features, seeing he had black hair...a t-shirt with a leather jacket. She wondered who else in their right mind would be out in this weather. She stopped, and waited for him.
"Hello?"
