(( For those of you who hate long bios, most of this is explination of powers, weapons, etc. If ya don't care for that just skim through it or something...... ))
Name: Vexzel Lagurus

Place of Birth: Unknown
Appearnce:
Height: 5’10(most of the time)
Weight: 150(ish)
Race: Vampire
Powers: Typical vampire stuff (duh)
His black magic ranges from hellfire, lightning, ice, and darkness. Unlike other vampires Vexzel can control a force called Malice, an extremely destructive type of magic energy. Now, upon seeing a certain speculation in Kori’s bio, I’m going to give a detailed explanation of malice. Kori, sadly was never very good at writing up such explanations.
Malice energy is generated by the lingering hatred, regret, and vengeful will of the dead. These evil spirits refuse to pass on, clinging to their death grudges and hate until their evil energy binds them to this world. Those particularly sensitive to spirits can draw in this energy and use it as a weapon. Most commonly, malice materializes as a blazing red light. Contact with said light sends the destructive energy of malice through the target’s body, or whatever it touches. Normally it inflicts no physical wound but tears at the soul of the victim. They only defense one has when struck by malice is force of will. Simply being stubborn enough to cling to life can stave of weak malice attacks. Though force of will can only protect you for so long. Of course, if malice fails to destroy the targets soul from the first strike that soul can recover over time. Those with regenerative powers will heal from malice more quickly. However, malice in great amounts can and will damage the body as well. Another thing to remember is that malice energy is strongest the closer it is to a strong source. This source is where a great many died and began to generate malice. Like the battlefield of a past war, or the site of a massacre.
Malice in great amounts can also be used to create monsters. This is much like condensing elemental magic into an elemental type monster, or making a golem. Monsters born from malice share the same strengths and weaknesses as demons, and can die in the same ways. There are a few differences these monsters can not only channel malice as a weapon, but can absorb malice attacks and grow stronger. Such creatures are little more than mindless killers, and will attack any living creature they find until they are destroyed. Creatures born of malice cannot use any magic other than malice. Last but not least, if the malice energy inside such a creature is completely purified it will die.
When malice collides with any other form of energy it lashes out at that energy like it would a creature. If this energy is of equal strength to the malice both will be destroyed. If one is stronger than the other, the stronger energy will survive the conflict and destroy the weaker one. Malice can be destroyed more easily by holy energies or when struck with a holy object. This is because holy energy has purifying properties, and purification will destroy the power of malice.
Vexzel is given some unique powers from an artifact he carries. This artifact is the Ebony Stone, a crystal made of solidified dark energy. This crystal is embedded into an earring, almost always worn on his left ear.
The Ebony Stone steals a small fragment of the souls of Vexzel’s victims. With this soul fragment the Ebony Stone remembers the victim’s form and powers. Using the dark magic contained within the stone Vexzel enhances his natural shape shifting abilities, now being able to take the form of any creature he has killed…... or even combine several such forms into a beastly chimera! Though in all of these transformations the Ebony Stone is somewhere on Vexzel’s body. If it suffers extensive damage Vexzel’s transformation will be broken and force him back into his original form.
The Ebony Stone also steals a soul fragment from those Vexzel bites, assuming they survive or are turned. Using this fragment the Stone can be used to manipulate the victim, to a certain extent. Strong will or opposing magic can break this manipulation.
Weapons: Blood Scythe: A pitch black scythe with a demon’s skull wielded onto the blade’s hilt. The skull seems to be locked in its final scream, with the scythe’s blade emerging from its mouth.
The scythe’s blade is coated with a poison taken from this demon’s fangs. The venom acts when the scythe’s blade inflicts a wound, and the poison seeps into the wound. The poison slows regenerative abilities and keeps blood from coagulating. The combination of these effects keeps the opponent bleeding for a short while at the very least. Many exposures to this poison can even temporarily halt regeneration.
Sounga: A katana sword from feudal Japan. The sword has a five foot long blade, with a slight curve. The Sounga’s hilt is forged demon bone with a large purple jewel set into the hilt’s end. It is possessed by the spirit of an ancient evil demon, whose power now flows through the blade. This living sword now not only has a mind but many powers of its own. (For staff members who want a detailed listing PM me.)
Throwing Knives: These are one of Vexzel’s favorite weapons. He keeps many knives hidden among the feathers of his wings. The knives are painted black like his feathers, making them hard to see. Vexzel has recently begun enchanting these knives with his black magic, making far more deadly weapons. Basically the knives began to radiate elemental power, this strike simultaneously with the knife’s blade.
History: Though Vexzel’s exact place and birth have never been found, it has been narrowed down. Most sources believe he was born somewhere in Europe, around 250 to 260 years ago. Vexzel’s early years were spent following after his mother, who could never seem to stay in one place. His father remains an enigma, Vexzel only knows that his father’s name Silvartis. Why? Because Vexzel has yet to meet his father.
If there was one thing Vexzel learned quickly it was fighting. Despite having the demon Thanatos appointed as his guardian, Vexzel had to fight many times in defense of his life. His hateful and distrusting nature came from this dangerous childhood. Unfortunately for his mother’s enemies, Vexzel inherited her temper and talent for black magic. Not to mention her near insanity and love of revenge.
Over time Vexzel began picking off these enemies one by one. Though there is no solid evidence it is widely believed it was Vexzel is behind the murder of Count Valitas, his uncle. This is very true, and it was from this battle that he gained the Ebony Stone.
Though recently Vexzel has been rather secretive, after Thanatos predicted the Goddess Wars were soon to begin anew. Following Thanatos’ predictions of the future Vexzel came to Chicago. Though there is no guarantee Thanatos was right. It took some doing to finally get away from his family unnoticed, but it finally happened.
Proof Word: Go Goddesses.
