*Name: Natsuo Ceres
Age: 17
Date of Birth: May 23rd
Place of Birth: Chicago, Illinois
Blood type: A-
Race: Half Demon (Cat)
Appearance:
Height: 6’ 3”
Weight: 150lbs
Powers:
Un-Human abilities - Natsuo has enhanced hearing, speed, and strength, at least compared to a human, for being half cat demon it’s natural to have these abilities. Along with that the ability to learn quickly is also in his blood, though he is actually smarter than most his age even with cat demons.
Noir- It seems to be a magic of no limits, if you know the right words, and methods. It is an old magic that Natsuo’s father researched, and having found one of the only known masters of the magic, the vampire known by many different names but the one she prefers in Freya. This magic can heal, allow you to control all elements, get into one’s mind and even more. Though not even Freya knows the full extent of the magic, even though she is a master, she’d rather not go too far with the magic, for when you use it the magic uses your life force.
One who knows how to use the magic can use any language to bring it forth if they really try, though the strongest languages are Latin, and Japanese, and the weaker ones are English and French. The stronger the language you use the more likeability that your calling will work Natsuo himself usually uses Japanese since it is his mother’s native language and so most of the times the magic will come to him.
How it works: You must say “spells” to bring forth the magic which you can do what is a direct spell, or an indirect spell. Direct spells is a spell you cast and the magic will automatically do what you want it to do. Indirect spells will able you to cast a series of spells, some in olden times actually called this loose magic. The magic will not also come to you, for if you use the weak language some like to say it does not hear use, and even with stronger languages it is not official that the magic will come to you.
Spells: Spells are a series of words, any words that have meaning in them depending on what you want to come from the spell. And as I said any words can be used. Though if you word the spell oddly you may come up with a messed up reaction.
((Any other abilities he may be able to use he does not know how to use yet))
*Weaknesses:
Holy - Of course this will affect him greatly for he is half demon, half opposite to that of holy, and so this will probably feel like a burn to him, he has never really touched anything holy so he would not know how it really affected him.
Sever Damage - Beheading, bleeding to death, head trauma, or any other kind of trauma can kill him, of course like it can kill anyone who can bleed, and is not invincible.
Weapons:
Kunai - The Kunai is a kind of basic dagger that all ninjas use. It is all-purpose and can be used as a throwing knife or to stab at your opponents.
Shuriken - The shuriken, otherwise known as ninja stars, is a very deadly and commonly used weapon. There are two types of shuriken: the tiny ones which are smaller and easier to throw and the Fuuma Shuriken: a huge shuriken used for fast and easy killing. It is very unwieldy, but if it hits you, you're as good as dead!
Wire - Wires are simple thin metal wiring often tied to the kunai or shuriken and thrown to in groups to fasten an enemy to a tree, rock or other things.
Fuuma Shuriken - The fuuma shuriken is also known as the windmill shuriken. It is much larger than the normal shuriken and it is also collapsible. Though the accuracy rate is much lower the effects of being hit by a fuuma shuriken are far more deadly.
History:
May 23rd 1990, Natsuo was brought into the world in a Illinois home, his parents, Fai and Nina, didn’t want to take the risk of going to a hospital for his father was a cat demon, and they did not want others knowing this. As expected Natsuo was born with cat ears and tail, which certainly would have given his father away. He was born a strong boy, even for being a cat demon, and a quick learner; his first words came quickly, as well as his first steps, and run. And before he was old enough to school, he learned how to conceal his cat tail and ears, so that he’d be able to go out in public, but his overly protective mother still worried, but his father assured her all would be fine.
When Natsuo went to school his father decided to go out on missions as he called them, he’d always return in time to greet his son as he walked into the house and then would spend the rest of then night with him until he went to sleep. Fai would spend only the time he had after his son went to sleep with his wife, but to her it was enough since much of his time at home went to their son, and her own father had never really paid much attention to her at a young age, or to her siblings either. To Nina Fai was the perfect father for her son, who actually ended up skipping the first grade, and later third grade, and the school was debating on whether to just passing him to middle school. He learned quickly, and was never challenged, even when given much higher level work then any in his grade level could even handle.
Natsuo made it to the sixth grade when he was only seven, and yet they still though of making him go to a higher grade. And at home by now his father was teaching him how to fight, which his mother didn’t agree with but just stayed in the background and watched as her son was taught how to use the strength that seemed to reach no end, how his speed almost gave her a headache while she watched him move, and how well he used the weapons known to be used by ninjas, worrying that he might use his abilities against other kids that he didn’t like. Which he was tempted to do this, for kids at school started to make fun of his age, his intelligence, and even the way he looked, for, he actually seemed to look a lot like a girl at this point in his life, but as much as he was tempted, he didn’t do it. But his mother was actually starting to grow jealous of her son, this is being his training lesson too a lot out of her husband at times, which took away his time with her, which she savored more than anything.
By the age of ten Natsuo was in high school, which the teasing got a bit worst there, but he could eat away easily at times, while he also gained some friends in this point of his life, unlike in middle school. His father started to arrive late for greeting him, which actually disappointed the boy, since he was so use to coming how to his father’s warm smile, instead of his mother’s scowl that was really meant for his father. Fai apologized each time, but for once Natsuo started to question where his father was going, but he told him that he couldn’t answer that question until he was older, which only made the boy more curious on what his father was doing, but he did nothing further.
By the time he was in the tenth grade Natsuo mother had become overly jealous, and whenever her and Natsuo where alone, she would fill his mind up with lies about his friends’ feelings towards him, and not only that but the way his father felt about him, in her lies, she was the only one who really cared about him. At first, he didn’t believe them, but after awhile they started to sink in and he took them to heart, and for the first time in his life he choose to spend his time attached to his mother, than being with his father, starting to hate Fai deep inside, and with his friends, he started to reject them. This hurt his father, and when he tried getting close to either of them they seemed to reject him, causing him to go into a deep depression, which actually caused him to rage at is family, causing Natsuo to hate him even more though also fear him for his rage was fierce, while Nina usual just grinned with satisfaction. One day the boy snapped back at his father speaking of all the lies, which surprised Fai, for he loved his son more then anything, even his wife. When all was said and done that night, Natsuo wasn’t sure who to believe, though he sided more with his father.
The next few days it was silent in the house, Natsuo and Nina didn’t speak to each other, and Fai was no where to be seen. But one day the boy came home and his mother was laughing in hysteria, the phone in her hand. When Natsuo tried speaking to her she just started screaming through her laughs “It’s your fault! It’s your fault Natsuo. That he’s dead!” Frozen with horror he didn’t move fast enough to realize his mother’s arm swinging at him with the phone at hand. By the time he came to he could still hear his mother’s laughs, “This is what you wanted right? One of them all to yourself…. Yes, but I wanted Fai. I WANTED FAI!” She walked into the room her son was in and grinned at him “It’s all your fault he’s left me! You need to take responsibility for what you’ve done.” She’d told him, just before she started kicking Natsuo, who started to cry and plea for her to stop. “NO! You’ve got to take it like a man. Like your father would!”
Her abuse continued, and continued, he’d show up at school battered, and with bandages everywhere. She only did it when she was provoked, which it didn’t take much to get her so, the smallest movement could to it, she’d become unstable, and Natsuo would just sit there and take the abuse, blaming himself as well for his father’s death, in some ways he thought he deserved it, and in other ways he didn’t, but he didn’t have the heart to over power his mother like he could easily do. She took to hitting him with her fist, or anything she could find around her, and would even stab him with forks, or hosing him down with hot water, and very rarely throwing him in the tub and holding his head under water. Some at school worried, but he just rejected them now more than ever, and avoided anyone who cared enough to ask questions. He thought this was how to take it like a man, but how could he know, he was still only a child.
Natsuo turned fourteen in his senior year of high school; it was already suspected that he would be valedictorian, even though he went through all the abuse he always managed to get all his work in. But this year a part of the group who had made fun of him the most came into his school as freshmen. They didn’t notice him at first, but he’d bumped into a few who gave him a hard time about it, and they soon recognized him, and this time their fun got more violent then just words. The group would push him down and kick on him whenever there weren’t any high classmen around who would stop them, though Natsuo could easily take on all of them and have to much energy to spare, he didn’t dare go against them for someone with his body size would never be able to take all of them on, and he’d gone this far without anyone finding out that he was half cat demon. So he went to school and got pushed around, and went home and got abused, he was able to take it for awhile, but after awhile his body was so sore he had to miss two weeks of school. And in those two weeks his mother kept whispering in his ear, “You think you’re trying to be like your father… But you aren’t… A coward is what you’re being like. You need fight back with them, you taking their beatings isn’t being a man! You’ve got to fight back!”
When the boy went back to school they tried getting to him before school, but before they could even touch him, Natsuo got them. He’d taken his mother words to heart, and decided to fight back before they touched him, which was a mistake. No one could pull him off of what was left of them, some had run away after seeing his first couple of blows to their fellows, he had to be reasoned with to stop hitting them. After he looked down at what he’d done, saw all the blood that had come from them on his cloths, Natsuo ran home as fast as he could. Right as he came into the door his mother was there her arms reaching out to embrace her incoming child, he went right into them and his eyes started to tear up and so when he looked up to his mother he thought it was because of the tears that her face seemed to have started to decay and turn black. She smiled at him and wiped away the tears, and started to repeatedly saying that she loved him, and asked him if he knew that, he’d say yes but then try to question her about her face, but she wouldn’t respond to that.
After a bit a voice came from behind his mother, he looked over her shoulder and saw a cat demon that looked almost exactly like his father; he tightened his grip on his mother. The cat demon said his name was Fray, and that he was Fai’s twin brother and his soon to be caretaker. Fai, before he died put a curse on his wife to protect his son in anyway he could after death, this caused her to start decaying as she made him do something wrong, though he never thought she’d lower to abusing him, just filling his mind with wrongs as she had before he died. Fray told Natsuo that there was a way to stop the curse, and even reverse what its done after seeing his eyes pour over with tears, though he knew that in the after life his brother would not be to happy with him. The demon himself did not know how to do it; it was his brother’s own workings which he didn’t quite understand. Though he did tell him that there where clues on how to stop it and reverse it in a place where Fai kept all his research, which actually was in a room under the floor boards of the home they’d lived in since before Natsuo’s birth. In there the where so many papers Natsuo wasn’t sure where to start, but he wanted to save his mother, no matter how much she beat him, he still loved her and felt that he needed her.
Before Fray left Natsuo asked him how his father died, but he didn’t know exactly, except for the fact that he was murdered, he also mentioned that Fai was in a very secretive, and deadly group, and to watch out for any demon that comes around besides him. He also said one other thing, “Your mom doesn’t have much time, and I’m talking less than a year, my brother liked to do everything in riddles, it will take a lot of time to get through everything he has…. I’ll be seeing you.” After the demon left Natsuo went to his mother who was looking at herself in the bathroom mirror, tears rolling down her cheeks, he tried to comfort her but she just pushed him away until she turned around and grabbed him by the shoulders and shoved him into the bathtub. Laughing in hysteria she started to scream at him “I’m going to die and you’re going to be here all alone, with no one to love you! Only I, and your father could love someone such as yourself. Maybe we should just go join him now… We’ll go see your father together. Ok Natsuo?” Her voice started to sound soothing as she turned the fossit and water started to pour into the tub. “We can be happy again.” She smiled, and the boy started to panic. “No mom! You aren’t going to die, I-I’m going to save you, you’ll be ok. YOU’LL BE OK!” His mother looked at him with shock and started to back up, “Mom… I don’t want to die. Please, stay with me, stay living, we’ll meet dad another time…”
Natsuo dropped out of school so he could dedicate all of his time to finding a way to stop his mother’s decaying, Fray had been right Fai liked to write in riddles, very complicated riddles, and with everything you wrote he wrote it in a different style. It frustrated the boy so much he’d just have to walk away from it for awhile, and take the stares of his mother with her expecting eyes that pained him. Whenever she asked if he had gotten any closer, he always told her the truth and shook his head, which caused her to rampage on him; beating him and making him feel even worst with her words always bringing up that he said he’d save her. One day as he was trying to figure out a riddle he heard voices above, and then he heard his mother cry his name, and he rushed up to find six demons all of different races of demon standing over his cowering mother. He rushed at them, claws and teeth bared; he tackled the first one down to the ground and went for another one only to be caught at the back of the throat. He started scratching at the hand and he was dropped, he could hear all of them laughing at him, saying “This is definitely Fai’s son, same style. Knock everyone down and then kill them if they’re bigger. Bet he’s as smart as him too.” The demons where from a group called Septimal Midnight, a group of demons that Fai had been in, and they still hadn’t found a good enough replacement, they where there to get Natsuo to join, figuring he was just like his father. But the boy did not except the offer, he was not going to leave his mother and let her die, especially not alone. They just grinned and left saying that they’d come back soon. Everyone seemed to doubt Natsuo’s ability to save his mother some how, but he wasn’t going to doubt himself, not yet… but even he knew they where running out of time, more then half of his mother’s body was blackened with decay.
Not long after that a girl came to his door, one about his age, saying that she wanted to help him with his research, she was a cat demon, and so he was wary of her, he never even really learned why she had come. His mother forced him to allow her inside; she wanted Natsuo to keep his promise, and to use anything necessary to do so. Not to long after she started helping him, he realized how lower leveled her mind was compared to him, it was hard for him to figure out the riddles, but it was even harder for her. So to keep his mother happy he just gave her riddles he’d already figured out to see if she’d get the same answers, which he didn’t pay enough attention to realize that they could help him with other things, then again all he was thinking about was his mother, he didn’t want to lose her, especially if he could save her. After awhile this demon girl, started talking about herself, and the clan she was from, though he didn’t pay attention to her much, all he really learned was that her name was Fail Fallic, at least until he heard his father mentioned, and he insisted on her telling him more, but she wouldn’t, not until he paid her something. Her wanted price was a kiss, he flared and stormed out.
Now years later Fail still helps still helps him with the riddles, trying to get more then friendly with the boy, and his mother still beats him, though now there is another reason added. He’d turned into a person that looked almost exactly like his father; it was hard for even him to even look at himself in the mirror, still blaming himself for his death. Though he felt he was righting himself trying to save his mother now… even if it costs him his life. In some of his father’s riddles he’s found out about a magic that could be the key to saving his mother, which it’s already helped him slow down the process…. He can just never figure out the right wordings to stop it. Though he’s slowly learning Latin, supposing being the strongest language, he feels it is the only language that can save his mother.
He now also no longer figures out the riddles himself; he leaves Fail to do that while he goes out for walks, taking a pad of paper and a pencil with him, trying to think of phrases he could use…..
